NEWS: Stream Your Own Game with Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta)

Today, millions of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members are enjoying Xbox Cloud Gaming to play top titles from the Xbox Game Pass catalog on various devices. We’ve also heard your excitement about having more flexibility to stream games you own beyond the Game Pass catalog.  Starting today, I’m excited to announce that we’re allowing Game Pass Ultimate members to stream select games they own through TVs and browser on supported devices like smartphones, PCs, and tablets, in all 28 countries where Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) is available. This is just the beginning. Next year, we’re excited to bring this feature to Xbox consoles and the Xbox app on Windows. 

50 Great Games Available Today, With More to Come  

We are happy to announce that over 50 great games are now available for streaming. Our library of cloud-playable titles will continue to grow, as we work with our partners around the world to bring you a diverse and expansive selection of great games across devices. You can stream any version of these games below that you own, for example Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Complete Edition. 

Ready to Get Started? Here’s How:

Game Pass Ultimate members can stream select cloud-playable games you own, even if they’re not included with Game Pass Ultimate, directly on various devices. This includes Samsung Smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV devices, Meta Quest headsets as well as other browser supported devices like PCs, smart phones, and tablets. For more details, see below or check out our support page. 

On your PC, phone, tablet, handheld, and most devices with access to a web browser: 

• Use a supported browser like Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, or Apple Safari. 
• Navigate to https://xbox.com/play. 
• Sign into your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.  
• Look for “Stream your own game” to discover games you can play right now, and others you can stream after purchasing them. 
• Connect a supported controller. Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller are all compatible. On PC, some games will also support mouse and keyboard input. 
• Start playing! 

On supported TVs and VR headsets: 

• Download and launch the Xbox app (on supported Samsung TV, Amazon Fire device) or the Xbox Cloud Gaming app (on Meta Quest 2, 3 or Pro).. 
• Sign into your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.  
• Look for “Stream your own game” to discover games you can play right now, and others you can stream after purchasing them. 
• Connect a compatible Bluetooth-enabled wireless controller. Controllers like the Xbox Wireless Controller, Xbox Adaptive Controller, PlayStation DualSense, or DualShock 4 controller are all compatible.

NEWS: EA Play is Coming to PC for Xbox Game Pass Today March 18 2021

Since teaming up with Electronic Arts, Microsoft been working to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members an EA Play membership at no additional cost. They want to thank the PC community for your patience over the past few months as they have worked to deliver a better Xbox App experience for EA Play. Microsoft is excited to share with you that starting today, March 18 at 2:00 p.m. PT (5:00 p.m.EST), Xbox Game Pass PC and Ultimate members will be able to enjoy all the benefits of EA Play on Windows 10.

Earlier this month Microsoft announced that they have teamed up with Electronic Arts to provide Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC members an EA Play membership at no additional cost. Today Microsoft is announcing that starting November 10, EA Play will be available on Xbox consoles, including Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X, as part of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and beginning in December, members with an Ultimate or PC subscription will be able to download and play games from the EA Play library on Windows 10 PCs.* That means we will have a whole new collection of games coming your way on console and PC, and that some of the best EA Play games will also be available for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members to play on Android devices via the cloud.

Microsoft is pleased to share the initial launch line-up of more than 150 games that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can play via the cloud in 22 countries starting September 15 at no additional cost. You will find a fantastic, curated selection of games available in the Xbox Game Pass library, including popular Xbox Game Studios titles such as Tell Me Why, Grounded, Forza Horizon 4, and Battletoads, along with favorites from our content partners like Spiritfarer, Untitled Goose Game, and Destiny 2. Similar to Xbox Game Pass for Console and PC, you can expect the library to evolve over time based on members’ feedback, with new games added all the time.

As Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, you can discover the freedom and flexibility the cloud brings to your gaming experience. NEWS: Xbox Series X Release Date,Price Announced, Xbox Game Pass adding huge 3rd Party Addition

Just announced by Microsoft, Xbox Series X, Microsoft's most powerful console ever made, and Xbox Series S, next-generation performance in Microsoft's smallest console ever built at a more affordable price, launch globally November 10, pre-orders start September 22.  Series X will cost about $499 U.S. and the series S will cost about $299 U.S.

NEWS: Microsoft is Going to Add ProjectxCloud to Game Pass Ultimate at No Additional Charge

Over at Xbox Wire, in a post titled "You Are the Future of Gaming", Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox  announced that come September 2020 ProjectxCloud will be joining Xbox Game Pass Ultimate with no additional charge to the subscription service.

For those that don't know, wth Project xCloud (Preview) players can play Xbox games on their mobile phone or tablet directly from the cloud, including favorites such as Devil May Cry 5, Tekken 7, Gears 5, Forza Horizon 4, and many more — no waiting for downloads.

"You will get more from your Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership. Finally, today we’re announcing that this September, in supported countries, we’re bringing Xbox Game Pass and Project xCloud together at no additional cost for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. NEWS: Introducing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks

Today, Microsoft is announcing Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Perks, a new exclusive member benefit starting March 18 that provides even more value for our Ultimate members. When Microsoft launched Xbox Game Pass in June 2017, they did so with the goal of creating a membership that provides the best value in gaming. Their members have told Microsoft that they love discovering new games but they also want new in-game content. Through Perks, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members will now regularly receive new benefits including DLC, in-game content and more – all free and included with membership.

To kick things off, this month members can redeem these Perks for free:

• Phantasy Star Online 2: Enter the world of one of Japan’s biggest online RPGs with a special content bundle, which includes unique emotes, in-game cosmetics including an Xbox jacket, a gold ticket Mission Pass and in-game currency with a Meseta Crystal. Available to members in the US and Canada only.

GAME PASS: Coming in September to Xbox Game Pass for PC

From now on, Microsoft is going to announce new PC games separately from new Console games, because previous releases were a bit confused about which games are coming to each platform. They hope this will make it much easier to understand which games are included for PC vs Console, but don’t forget that (as always) any game announced for either PC or Console will be included with an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership.
