Welcome to XboxIssues
Welcome. I decided to make this blog after being a Xbox Ambassador for a number of years.
If you don't know an Ambassador is a Volunteer that Microsoft uses to help ease the load on the actual hard working support people.
I noticed that alot of the questions I would get could easily be solved by using Microsofts Xbox.com site.
Since some of the help articles may be hard to find, understand or the issue may be called something different in the gaming community making it more difficult to solve, I've decided to make this blog to make it easier for fellow gamers to get xbox assistance, news and all things Xbox.

Xbox Game Pass: Six New Game Pass Games Being Added In Feburary
It’s time for another drop of games coming your way. In case you hadn’t already cried when you realized that your backlog of video games has grown that much larger, my apologies. And if you’re going to cry on the controller, make it player 2’s controller please.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider (February 7) – Xbox One X Enhanced
The climactic finale to Lara Croft’s origin story has arrived on Xbox Game Pass. A dangerous and mysterious organization known as Trinity sends Lara on a thrilling action adventure through deadly jungles, treacherous underwater caves, and the most challenging tombs in the game’s history. To survive, she’ll have to become one with the jungle, use the environment to strike her foes quickly and quietly, sow fear in their ranks, and discover what it really means to be the Tomb Raider.
The Walking Dead: The Complete First Season (February 7)
Play as Lee Everett, a man with a criminal past given a chance at redemption — protecting a young girl named Clementine during a zombie apocalypse. Explore stunning comic book style environments, solve puzzles, fight the undead, build relationships, and do whatever you can to keep your humanity in a world gone to hell. Every choice is on the clock, every mistake will be your own, and the consequences carry across the entire five episode series.
Pumped BMX Pro (February 7)
Jump on the pedals and hit the ramps in this momentum-based trickathon. Pumped BMX Pro features more levels than ever, each with their own set of challenges for you to smash. Choose one of the pre-designed bikes; or ride to the editor to create your own custom bike before smashing the global leaderboards and your friends scores.
de Blob (February 14)
Become a master of color in the 3D platformer de Blob. Equal parts amorphous blob of paint, struggling artist, revolutionary, and juvenile delinquent, de Blob’s goal is to replace the drab, lifeless gray coloring that the I.N.K.T. Corporation has imposed on Chroma City and its inhabitants. Flip, bounce, and smash your way past a diabolical array of hot plates, electric shocks, and ink turrets. Compete to control Chroma City solo or with up to four players via split-screen across eight unique and challenging multiplayer modes.
Crackdown 3 (February 15) – Xbox Play Anywhere Title / Xbox One X Enhanced
A throwback with all the ingredients that made the series a fan favorite. Over-the-top and crazy antics will have you stopping crime as a super-powered agent of justice in a comic book inspired playground of mayhem and destruction, either solo or co-op with a friend via Xbox Live. Then hop online and get in on in the Wrecking Zone, where unprecedented destruction meets amped-up action. Level the entire battlefield with fully-destructible arenas, take out competitors by bringing down bridges, and soar through the air with a series of jet jumps and flying fists. Don’t let little things like walls and buildings stop you from going exactly where you want to go. It’s 5v5 mayhem across three maps and two modes. Arrives February 15 with Xbox Game Pass and globally on Xbox One and Windows 10 PC as an Xbox Play Anywhere title
Batman: Return to Arkham (February 21) – Xbox One X Enhanced
Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City, the first two games in the iconic Batman Arkham series, are coming to Xbox Game Pass in this comprehensive compilation that includes the definitive edition of each game, complete with all post-launch downloadable content. In Batman: Arkham Asylum, journey into the depths of Gotham City’s high security psychiatric hospital and battle supervillain inmates who have taken over the Asylum. Then go soaring into Arkham City, a super-prison built to contain Gotham’s worst criminals in Batman: Arkham City, one of the most critically-acclaimed games of all time.
Finally, don’t forget that we also dropped Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition last week.

NEWS: Xbox Game Pass Expands To Include New Releases From Microsoft Studios
We know our fans value having a variety of games to play at a low monthly price. We’ve also heard from fans that the ability to play new blockbuster games in Xbox Game Pass is important. So we’ve continued to explore new ideas to make this possible.
Today, we’re excited to announce plans for a major expansion to Xbox Game Pass that underscores our commitment to deliver our fans the ultimate gaming subscription service.
Moving forward, we plan to release all new Xbox One exclusive games from Microsoft Studios into Xbox Game Pass on the same date as their global release. This means that when Sea of Thieves launches on March 20, it will be included in Xbox Game Pass to all members.
This plan to bring new games timed with their global release into Xbox Game Pass not only includes announced titles like Sea of Thieves, State of Decay 2, and Crackdown 3 but future unannounced games from Microsoft Studios including new iterations of our biggest Xbox One exclusive franchises such as Halo, Forza and Gears of War, on the same day they launch.
Our fans have also asked for more choice in the subscription offerings available for Xbox Game Pass. As part of today’s library expansion, we are also pleased to announce that we are working closely with our retail partners, such as GameStop, to offer a 6-month Xbox Game Pass subscription card for those fans who look for a variety of ways to purchase and enjoy new games and services. The 6-month Xbox Game Pass subscription card will be available at select retail partners for $59.99 beginning March 20. By working closely with retail partners, Xbox Game Pass will have valuable ambassadors in popular destinations for gamers to discover new and exciting games and enjoy community.
With the addition of more great games, new blockbuster releases and a new subscription offer, we are giving fans more choice and value in how they discover and enjoy games – purchase games for their permanent library or play through Xbox Game Pass for one low price.
We’ve only scratched the surface of the opportunity this new model brings to the industry and what we can deliver to our fans. We firmly believe Xbox Game Pass will be a catalyst to create new opportunities for game developers and publishers to innovate in the way games are developed and delivered, leading to entirely new ways to play.

ARTICLE: Crackdown 3 Is at the Mercy of Your Internet Provider
DATA PROVIDER FICKLENESS is the bane of Internet service contracts, the killjoy of 4G smartphone coverage, and, potentially, the wet blanket of online mayhem in Crackdown 3, Reagent Games’ superhero-city-pummeling Xbox One exclusive.
Crackdown 3 sounds a lot like Crackdown 1 and 2 (Grand Theft Auto-like open worlds, only with superheroes), save for the “one more thing” unveiled at Gamescom last week: fully destructible urban jungles, powered by Microsoft’s Azure servers.
Azure is Microsoft’s buzzword for its angle on cloud computing, which is in turn a buzzword for a bunch of computers holding hands to parallel-crunch much grander computing tasks. With Crackdown 3, Azure apparently will offload stuff the Xbox One couldn’t handle by its lonesome to deliver virtual metropolises you can clobber to bits and pieces.
The trouble is, whether it’ll work as advertised remains anyone’s guess—including Microsoft’s.

“We can ensure that what leaves the data center is in a particular state, but not what happens between then and when it gets to people’s houses,” Microsoft global publishing general manager Sharron Loftis tells Game Informer.

ARTICLE: Crackdown 3 uses the Microsoft Cloud to summon the power of 20 Xbox Ones
The Crackdown series has always been a fan-favorite, offering a very memorable brand of over-the-top crime-fighting action. We were pretty psyched to hear about its return with Crackdown 3, and we walked away from our recent gamescom 2015 demo totally blown away, Not only did we get the kind of awesome single-player Crackdown experience that we know and love; we got the coolest tech demo that has ever graced the Xbox One.
We are not exaggerating when we say that Crackdown 3’s multiplayer building destruction demo was pretty much the coolest thing at gamescom. Like, holy crap levels of amazing. Games have promised this level of building destruction in the past, but no game has ever fulfilled it quite this fully.
So, get this: Crackdown 3 uses the Microsoft Cloud to segment the city into different chunks, each one using a different server’s processing power. We got to see a color-coded guide that essentially shows how each city block is connected to a unique server. This means that the compute load is split enough that the Xbox One isn’t trying to do every calculation for the entire game world (an impossible feat for even the beefiest computer – let alone a console). Essentially, Crackdown 3 uses the Microsoft Cloud to summon the power of 20 Xbox Ones, and fuses them together to make your game defeat lag and destroy anything you want, the way you want to.
