XBOX GAME PASS: Six Games Being Added In March

Hello fellow Xbox Game Pass fans! It’s only been a hot minute since Microsoft last dropped games into your ever-expanding library, but we’re ready to roll with even more (sorry not sorry to the titles waiting in your backlog). Since this is a blog post and not an infomercial, please use your best narrator voice and say, “but wait, there’s more!” right now. Apologies in advance if you start doing that every time we announce more games, because not gonna lie, we plan to continue dropping fresh titles all the time.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided (March 21)
The year is 2019 – mechanically augmented humans have been deemed outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. Deus Ex: Mankind Divided the sequel to the critically acclaimed Deus Ex: Human Revolution, builds on the franchises trademark choice and consequence, action RPG based gameplay, to create both a memorable and highly immersive experience. Players will once again take on the role of Adam Jensen, now an experienced covert agent, and will gain access to his new arsenal of customizable state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations. With time working against him, Adam must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.

What Remains of Edith Finch (March 21)
A strange curse has haunted the Finch family for generations and now all that remains is Edith and the colossal Finch home. In this intense, story-driven experience, it’s your job to look for answers by experiencing the lives and tragedies of Edith’s family on the days of their imminent deaths.

The Walking Dead: Michonne (March 28)
A horror adventure game where you play as the iconic blade-wielding character from Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic books. The story reveals where Michonne went during a time away from Rick, Ezekiel, and the rest of her trusted group. As the highly capable Michonne, you’ll chop through the undead, grapple with a haunting past, and decide who live or dies. But on this path paved with blood, can she keep her humanity, or will she lose herself forever?

Vampyr (March 28)
This action RPG thrusts you into the life of Johnathan Reid – Doctor, war veteran, and vampire –forced to choose between his new thirst for blood and the lives of the citizens of London in the aftermath of World War I. The unique citizen system gives you a social map of London as you explore, investigate, and discover the populace and their relationships. Your actions, who you help, and who you hurt, will have far-reaching effects, and will decide the fate of the entire city. Will you feed and become the ultimate Vampyr

Operencia: The Stolen Sun (March 29)
A dungeon crawler RPG by Zen Studios, featuring an old-school turn-based battle system and classic European mythology. Explore 13 unique levels and battle over 50 enemy types as you attempt to save the kingdom from perpetual darkness. Xbox One is the only console where you’ll be able to play Operenica: The Stolen Sun, and it will be immediately available to Xbox Game Pass members same day of its release.

Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite (April 1)
Stop the deadly Ultron Sigma from destroying the world in Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite! Iconic characters from the Marvel and Capcom universes join forces in an attempt to take back control utilizing the almighty Infinity Stones. Jump into story mode or hop online and play against others in high-paced epic battles.

And, in case you missed it, we recently shared that Minecraft is coming to Xbox Game Pass on April 4! You can join the millions of players in the Minecraft community to build, create, and explore infinite worlds. NEWS: Microsoft announces Xbox Live for any iOS or Android game

Microsoft is bringing its Xbox Live network to iOS and Android devices. The software giant is launching a new cross-platform mobile software development kit (SDK) for game developers to bring Xbox Live functionality to games that run on iOS and Android. Xbox Live features like achievements, Gamerscore, hero stats, friend lists, clubs, and even some family settings will all be available on iOS and Android.

“We believe so strongly in community, and Xbox Live really being at the heart of our gaming community,” explains Kareem Choudhry, Microsoft’s gaming cloud chief in a media briefing this week. “If you watch what we’ve done, especially with Minecraft, over the past few years we’ve taken Xbox Live to as many platforms as Minecraft is on as possible. Really uniting all those communities together with a consistent singular experience for those gamers.”

Microsoft wants game developers to take a similar Minecraft approach and bring Xbox Live to more mobile games. Some iOS and Android games already have Xbox Live Achievements, but they’re only enabled in titles from Microsoft Studios at the moment and this new SDK will open up Xbox Live functionality to many more games.

GAME PASS: Four More Games Coming to Xbox Game Pass for Early March

Hey, Xbox Game Pass members, Game Pass has even more video games coming your way because well… that’s what they do. Honestly, would you have it any other way? Whether you want to soar through explosions in a rainbow-colored wingsuit or stroll through hordes of Bloatflies in an irradiated ocean (no judgment, if that’s what you’re into), Game Pass has got you covered. All that is in addition to the 100+ great games you already have at your fingertips. If you can’t wait, we should also mention that you can remotely install these games to your home console right when they drop by using the Xbox Game Pass mobile app. Then they’ll be ready to play as soon as you are.

Lightning-ridden rainforests, roaring deserts, howling snowstorms…Oh and did we mention tornados!? Take in the sights and stay a while. Just Cause 4 is an open world sandbox designed for exploratory, experimental, over-the-top fun, ready for you on Xbox Game Pass.

LEGO Batman 2 (March 6)
Calling all crime fighters! Batman, Robin, Wonder Woman, Superman, and more playable DC Comics characters than you can shake a shark repellent covered stick at, are back to save Gotham City. Play as different members of the Justice League in this open world single or multiplayer game, while stopping Lex Luthor, Joker, and more notorious villains in their tracks.

F1 2018 (March 14)
The official videogame of the 2018 FIA Formula One World Championship, F1 2018 challenges you to make headlines as you become immersed in the world of F1 more than ever before. You will have to build your reputation both on and off the track, with time-pressured media interviews that influence your career in the sport. Do you exhibit sportsmanship or showmanship? FREEBIES: Xbox Live Games With Gold March 2019

For the month of March, Xbox Live Gold members will receive four new free games – two on Xbox One and two on Xbox 360 – as part of the Games with Gold program. You can play both Xbox 360 titles on your Xbox One with Backward Compatibility.

*Titles are available as free downloads for qualifying Xbox Live Gold members in all markets where Xbox Live is available. Some regions may offer different titles depending on market availability.

On Xbox One, Xbox Live Gold members can download Adventure Time: Pirates of the Enchiridion ($39.99 ERP) for free during the month of March. Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 ($19.99 ERP) will be available as a free download from March 16th to April 15th.

On Xbox 360, starting March 1st, Star Wars Republic Commando ($9.99 ERP) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members through March 15th. Then on March 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can download METAL GEAR RISING: REVENGEANCE ($19.99 ERP) for free through March 31st.
